#Vorurteile
This short film series explores questions of violence, identity and personal responsibility through stories shaped by the realities of migration. While each film stands on its own, together they portray different moments in the lives of people navigating belonging, pressure, prejudice and the expectations placed upon them.
The films move through private, social and personal spaces: from violence within relationships, to conflicts among young people searching for recognition, to the internal struggles of a young man confronting the consequences of his own choices. In each story, migration forms part of the background — influencing experiences, opportunities and perceptions — without defining the characters entirely.
Rather than offering simple answers, the series invites reflection on how silence, social pressure and individual decisions interact. It asks how cycles of violence and frustration emerge, and how they might be broken.
Across these three perspectives, the series highlights a central idea: while circumstances shape our paths, the choices we make still carry power — for ourselves, for others and for the communities we are part of.

Breaking the Silence
#GewaltAnFrauenKenntKeineHerkunft
This short film addresses domestic violence and the abuse of power within relationships. While cultural influences can shape behaviors, violence belongs to no culture. It is a violation that occurs across societies, backgrounds and social classes.
The film aims to raise awareness, encourage reflection and remind us that silence only protects the abuser.

Who Do You Want To Be?
#WerWillstDuSein
Violence among young people often emerges from group pressure, insecurity or the search for recognition.
This film asks a simple but powerful question:
When violence happens, who do you choose to be, the one who strikes, the one who follows, the one who looks away, or the one who intervenes?
It is a call for reflection, responsibility and civil courage.

The Winning Loser
#MachWasAusDir
This short film explores the life of a young man caught between pride, frustration and missed opportunities.
While many young people face prejudice and structural barriers, the film also raises an important question: how do our own decisions shape our future?
Between excuses and opportunity lies a choice.
